Hotel Rungghof is surrounded by nature, nestled among meadows and forests on the sunny side of Siusi, with wonderful panoramic views of the Sciliar

Our hotel is located between Siusi and Castelrotto, at the foot of the popular Alpe di Siusi and the Sciliar mountain. Our home offers breathtaking views of Siusi and the imposing Sciliar, the symbol of South Tyrol. To the north and west, the view sweeps far out to the snow-capped “three-thousanders” of the central Alpine ridge whilst the the Sciliar-Catinaccio nature park lies to the east, with direct access from Siusi. The shuttle bus stop is about 450 metres from our hotel, with a good connection to the Alpe di Siusi cableway station and to the surrounding towns. Spend your holiday in the Sciliar area - you will not regret it.

Arrival

By car
From the North: Take the Chiusa / Val Gardena motorway exit and drive to Ponte Gardena. Follow the signs towards Altopiano dello Sciliar. After about 15 minutes you will arrive at the first junction, where you turn right and after two minutes you will reach a second, where you turn right again. Past the Alpe di Siusi crossroads you will see a turning after about 1-2 minutes, turn right here towards Laranza. You will reach our hotel two minutes later.

From the South: Take the Bolzano Nord motorway exit and drive to Prato all’Isarco. After this town there is a tunnel which you drive through on the left. In about 20 minutes you will reach Fiè allo Sciliar. Continue onward through Siusi in the direction of Castelrotto. After about 1-2 minutes you will see a turning on your left in the direction of Laranza. Take this and you will reach our hotel after about 2 minutes.

By train
From Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium there are good Intercity and Eurocity connections to Bressanone. Some regional trains also stop in Chiusa or Ponte Gardena. A regular bus service brings you to Siusi several times a day from all of these stations.

By plane
The nearest airports are in Bolzano (about 40 km - 50 minutes), Innsbruck (about 120 km - 1 hour 15 minutes), Verona (about 190 km - 2 hours), Brescia (about 230 km - 2 hours 20 minutes), Bergamo (about 270 km - 2 hours 45 minutes) and Treviso (about 170 km - 3 hours). From there you can reach Siusi by taxi or with the public transport.
